D4) Introduction to Photographic Makeup
This course will enable you to initiate your career as a makeup artist in beauty salons and doing bridal makeup. Build up your portfolio and makeup kit/tools.
You will learn some notions of facial anatomy, skincare, the correct use of tools and products, the principles of lighting and shading in make-up, as well as color mixing and blending the application of bases, and beauty make-up for both day and evening.
Make-up application to include the understanding of face shapes, skin characteristics, fashion trends, cultural factors, effects of sunlight.
You will be taught by international film and TV makeup designer.
Classes (Maximum 6 students) are taught through practical demonstrations and one-to-one attention on each students work. Students work on each other, training mannequins or a model with a very practical and hands-on approach from day one.
The course is of about 30 guided learning hours and its length can vary:
Expected attendance minimum one day per week either mornings or afternoon classes (one class).
Lessons are on a flexible basis during the week including some festivities for about 3 months (Approximately, depending from attendance).

A London Academy Malta certificate will be issued at completion of the course.
