This qualification is to demonstrate  your commitment to professionalism and ideal for hair stylist, salon owners/employers and freelance hair and makeup artist to enable them to implement safe policies in the salons/ locations and train their staff in infections control measures.

The aim of this VTCT Level 2 Award is to develop your knowledge and understanding of how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and how to work safely.

​

You will develop knowledge on the importance of social responsibility, the causes, transmission and effects of COVID-19, and the methods used to control transmission such as correct hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 

​

This qualification is completed entirely online, with no attendance of the training centre required.

Students will need access to a pc to complete coursework and online test.

Completed through our Online Student Portal with full learning resources and access to our Support Team whenever needed.

​

Complete at your own pace, the portal is available online 24/7  up to 12 months.

You can complete the course with 5 to 10 hours of distanced learning. The learner is required to complete a workbook that includes 62 questions.

​

On a scheduled day you will be required to undertake an additional multiple-choice question paper, consisting of 23 questions.

​

30 minutes are allocated for this test.
